Superstition is a cause of human life and his/her reactions towards nature and the mysterious surroundings around him. Which give rise to Superstition especially when man is faced with less certain or un known events and future. Most superstitions, in the past, have been parts and parcels of wide social beliefs which have partly come down to us. Some superstitions have psychological root. There fictitious beliefs hinder people from thinking reasonably and are considered as threats in the way of social development. Therefore, superstition should be studied and made away with.
This study concentrates on superstitions during the era of Gaznavids, reflected in the poems of Farrokhi Sistani and Manuchehry Damegani, based on psychological researches and the reasons of attraction towards superstition in this era.Therefore, superstition should be studied and made away with.
